BacterioChromic explores soft, responsive textiles inspired by bacterial growth patterns in petri dishes. Through embroidery, dyeing, and machine sewing, the project embeds Shape-Memory Alloy wires and thermochromic threads into fabric to create colour-changing and shape-changing behaviours.

The wall-based prototype responds to touch, stretch, and breath, shifting its surface through tactile interaction. ,The work uses patterns as a material language to raise awareness around antimicrobial resistance and imagine softer forms of interactive interiors
